Dear Friends and Neighbors,
This Thursday, I will be participating in a public affairs forum sponsored by the Gig Harbor Chamber of Commerce. During the forum, I will be discussing current and future K-12 education policy in Washington state. While basic education funding will soon make up more than 50 percent of the operating budget for the first time since the 1980s, we must ensure taxpayer dollars are reaching the classroom and helping our students succeed. I look forward to discussing our progress in that area and what more we can be doing as legislators in the years ahead.
Details of the forum are as follows:
WHAT: Public affairs forum sponsored by the Gig Harbor Chamber of Commerce
WHERE: Cottesmore of Life Care – 2909 14th Ave NW, Gig Harbor, WA 98335
