Dear Friends and Neighbors,

As I mentioned in my last email update, I’ll be holding a foster care town hall with Rep. Ruth Kagi, chair of the House Early Learning and Human Services Committee, this Saturday, June 10. During the town hall, we’ll be discussing the future of foster care in Washington state and taking your questions. All community members are welcome, including children.

Details are as follows:

WHAT: Foster Care Town Hall Meeting with Reps. Michelle Caldier and Ruth Kagi
WHERE: Gig Harbor City Hall – 3510 Grandview St.
WHEN: 10 a.m., Saturday, June 10

If our state’s going to fix its broken foster care system, we must come together and develop comprehensive solutions that will make a lasting difference for children and families. I encourage you to join us for this important discussion. This is not a partisan issue. We need involvement and input from citizens all across the political spectrum, so please come with your ideas and questions.

See you Saturday!

Michelle Caldier
