Rep. Caldier to hold 26th District telephone town hall

Rep. Michelle Caldier is inviting citizens from across the 26th District to join her in an hour-long telephone town hall, Thursday, March 19, starting at 6 p.m.

“This will provide an opportunity for me to review the 2020 legislative session and answer questions about what passed, what didn’t pass, and what people can expect as new laws take effect,” said Caldier, R-Port Orchard. “It’s also a convenient way for citizens to discuss their ideas and concerns about state government — all from the comfort of their home.”

The telephone town hall is similar to a radio call-in talk show. Listeners can press the star (*) key on their telephone keypads to ask questions during the program.

“I recently held town hall meetings in Vaughn, Gig Harbor and Port Orchard, and enjoyed hearing from folks about those issues that are most on their minds. However, not everyone could make it to those locations to attend,” said Caldier. “It’s important to hear from as many people throughout the district. This telephone town hall makes that possible.”

To participate, call (360) 499-8353 between 6 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. on Thursday, March 19. The program will end at 7 p.m.
