Rep. Caldier invites 26th District citizens to discuss COVID-19 crisis on April 30 telephone town hall

Rep. Michelle Caldier, R-Port Orchard, is inviting citizens from throughout the 26th Legislative District to join her Thursday, April 30 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. in a telephone town hall to discuss issues and concerns related to the COVID-19 emergency and government response.

“My last telephone town hall was held in March, just after the first emergency orders were issued by the governor. Many people were so concerned about the coronavirus crisis and had so many questions, we extended the event for an extra half hour,” said Caldier.

The telephone town hall is similar to a radio call-in talk show. Listeners can press the star (*) key on their telephone keypads to ask questions during the program.

“This latest telephone town hall on Thursday is a convenient way to connect to constituents in their homes throughout the district, answer their questions about the pandemic response, and provide an update on safely restarting our economy,” Caldier added. “I invite everyone to join me for this event.”
