Rep. Michelle Caldier, R-Port Orchard, tells KTTH's Jason Rantz a new law, House Bill 1747, which passed the Legislature unanimously, is a “huge win” for children and families. The new law will reshape the way child dependency cases are handled in Washington state, allowing more children to stay with family members without those relatives being required to legally adopt them.
